The Nephilim's Touch by Morgan Lysand

3.5

Gabe, a very sweet but lonely nephilim, has made his home in the supernatural town of Hex, Indiana. When not bartending, he can be found talking and tending to his plant babies, or visiting The Magic Shop, a place that no one else seems to know about but him.

Van, a crossroads demon with a gnarly temper, is always one to act now and think later. Which is how he ends up banished to Hex with no powers and a clock ticking over his head counting down to his demise unless he changes his ways.

The pair meet when Van gets literally thrown out of Hell and directly into Gabe’s path. With none of the other demons able to help him, Van can only rely on the sweet angelic man that is Gabe.

The chemistry between Van and Gabe is instantaneous, and while I would have liked it to be a bit slower of a connection, their story was pretty cute and definitely steamy! I loved how well these two balanced each other out, and that Gabe brought out such a sweet side to Van that no one else got to see.
