I feel like this novella fell into the pit of 'stretching out the beginning and it being really good to all of a sudden we are instantly in love and are all over each other' a lil too fast lol. The chemistry just wasnt there for me for some reason. It felt really abrupt and like....??? Idk how to explain it but the beginning and the set up was so good. This should have maybe been like 50 pages longer and wouldve ate but it just felt rushed in the end.
