I really loved this book! Lately I've been super into historical fiction that involves a mystery that spans over a long period of time.

I really enjoyed the characters and their stories. Everyone's, but especially Eliza's. I enjoyed unraveling the mystery bit by bit. This is the first book in a long while that had me completely glued to the pages. The ending was beautiful and perfect also.

This book reminded me a lot of The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield, which is one of my favorite books.

I definitely recommend it for those who enjoy mystery and/or historical fiction!
