Somehow I missed this one

I am a sucker for lists of books everyone should read. Somehow i managed to grow up with parents who read to me, and had children to whom I read, and never read this.

It’s a bit of a tear jerker for a kids book, but its good.

The part about the mother going to her adult sons house and rocking him while he sleeps is creepy if taken literally.
