My 2nd Brandon Sanderson book and I’m in love!! I immediately went to buy book two. I loved the characters, character growth, world-building, and magic. I typically gravitate towards magical realism instead of fantasy and I feel like this fits me perfectly. Sanderson’s fantasy writing is so easy to digest and his male and female characters are beautifully written - I loved them and their relationships and growth had me crying in the end. “It was a fun job, wasn’t it? When you remember me, please remember that. Remember to smile.” 😭 “Sometimes we just have to wait long enough, Mistress,” he said. “Then we find out why exactly it was that we kept believing. There is a saying that Master Kelsier was fond of.” -Sazed
