It's just too much. The MCs' rivalry (two black queer women hating each other instead of supporting each other - this isn't a "cute" rivalry, they actually are toxic towards one another), their awful choices to be the 'best' (i.e. not sleeping and not taking care of their mental and physical health), their awful families who don't support them in their life choices. I want something more positive when reading a romance novel
