How to Get Filthy Rich in Rising Asia by Mohsin Hamid

3.0

Ugh, I'd forgotten how irritating second-person narratives could be. The reluctant fundamentalist was the same IIRC. It's a pretty good idea though, looking at a chancer working his way up from rags to riches on a country where the rule of law is pretty tenuous and business involves a certain amount of thuggery, rule-breaking and corruption. I liked the self-help book conceit too.
So, an intersting read but please stop with the second-person stuff!
