3.5 Borrowed this because I enjoyed the TV show based on it and I wanted to read the sequels. I can say that despite some differences the show is a fairly good adaptation of this book, so there were no real surprises for me reading this, but I still enjoyed it! Just a nice sort of cozy mystery with an elderly sleuth at its center (and her two friends). Some of the mystery parts and deductions are tenuous at best, but honestly I’ve never minded that much with this specific genre of mystery. I’m looking forward to chilling with the sequels.
