not a lot happens in this book but almost everything that does is so sad ?! that would usually make me read slower but it didn't happen with the bell jar, i was 100% invested. also sylvia plath is just such a talented writer like... every single sentence was gorgeous and a pleasure to read, i constantly had to stop and think about what i had just read because it was all so beautiful (and tragic)
