On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft by Stephen King

4.0

3.5. I enjoyed the memoir parts of the book more than the writing advice, but still found all of it interesting. I can’t say I agree or disagree with his advice, he’s mostly talking about what works for him and I am no professional writer. We all know he’s a prolific freak and that this isn’t doable for like 98% of writers but it was somewhat fascinating to read about it. The memoir parts were interesting though, I rarely care about celebrity memoirs, but I guess it’s a little different when they’re writers and when it’s so short overall. But I always enjoy hearing about people’s creative process.
