For pretty much the first time ever in my history of reading, I couldn't bring myself to finish this. I love the musical, so I thought, hey, why not read the book? But Raoul, who narrates a decent amount of the book, is a whiny baby pretty much the whole time, and the plot overall is really slow. I was bored.
