Hi! Fly Guy is a precious story about a little boy who has a pet fly. Throughout the story the boy, Buzz, is encouraged to give the pet away because other characters believed that flies were pests and not pets. But despite the words of others, Buzz and his fly start a budding friendship. This story is great for young readers because of the large text and the fact that there are only a few words on each page. I would definitely put this book in a preschool or Kindergarten classroom library.
