This was an impulse supermarket pick up that I went into blind. A great, character driven mystery with Gothic undertones as the old house creaks with secrets. The second half is brimming with suspense and so fast paced it’s impossible to put down. It’s not often in novels told from more than one perspective that I’m drawn to both equally.
