I would like to thank GRR for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.
aaaiiiiieeeee the slow burn achies squeeze my lil heart oh sooooo good! Alpha Awakened was significantly longer than most MM romances, but this book was amazing from beginning to end so i had absolutely no problem with the length! Christa Tomlinson is an awesome writer, balancing the energy of military ops with the emotional high and lows of a forbidden relationship, the complexities around identity, and the challenges of integrating humans and shifters in one armed force. I really enjoyed the layers of engagement i got from this read ngl!

Ahhhh Hazard's first heat and him howling for Ice had me SQUEALING!!! And even though this kinda thing happens in pretty much every a/b/o, where instinct wins out over the a/o "will they-won't they" mental gymnastics heavy in the ust chapters, i eat it up every. Single. Time.
SO YESSSS there's tons of super hot spice, once the feelings get sorted... and even when they weren't ;p bless
Every sentence had me glued to my kindle, and i could srsly read 8246529635986 pages more! So happy this will be a series because i want more of this in my brain asap!
This was my first Christa Tomlinson but this definitely won't be my last! i'm very much looking forward to everything else still to come for Squad 448 because this was really wild! and also my Instinct says that this Reaper Pack 84 series is gonna be a winner, and after this book, i've no doubt about that!
