Grayson's Vow by Mia Sheridan

4.0

Her books are diverse and I am still deciding if she is an author to stay on my lists or go DNF. I read Kyland and wasn't impressed. SO I tried Archer's voice, loved that one more.

I have to discount the current trend of fake marriage ( like the trend of vampires, friends to lover, etc whatever the hit topic is of the moment) and look at the story.

It starts off with Kira confronting Grayson outside a bank and proposing a deal to solve all their money problems. She seems crazy and he brushes her off. For some reason he researches her, shows up and agrees to this crazy idea.

So they begin a fake relationship and at first it was like oil and water colliding. But once they let each other in and share their past, something shifts in their relationship.

It was a good fast read even knowing I was heading to a HEA ending ( not my favorite) I enjoyed how it all ended.
