Wow I don't know what to say except wow! I didn't really read much into this book before I started it I only knew that it was a horror novel about a conversion camp and knew I had to read it. I was so thoroughly surprised with how good this book was considering all I knew about Chuck Tingle was that he wrote other books that were satire erotica that had hilarious titles and covers. I loved the found family aspect of this book and I never saw the twist of what was actually going on with Camp Damascus so I was pleasantly surprised by it when it was revealed what they were actually doing. This book quickly became one of my top reads for 2024 and I can't wait to read more of this genre from Chuck Tingle.
