WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG TO READ THIS ONE?!
The story of Jordan and Pike was everything!! I was seriously hooked from the first chapter. I truly loved Pike and Jordan, they both deserved so much happiness but have such a hard past. When they meet at first they don't know who the other is and met randomly but there was an instant ease when they were together. Pike then realizes that Jordan is dating his son, Cole. When Cole and Jordan get kicked out of their old apartment, they decide to move in with Pike since he lives alone and it would give them a chance to save up for a place.
Pike and Jordan had this instant attraction from the start, but they both chose to ignore it the best they could because of Cole. When Cole starts coming around less and less, Jordan and Pike slowly start to open up and get to know each other. Soon, they can't deny what is between them anymore.
This book had me feeling all the emotions and I loved every second of it! Seeing both characters find someone they can trust and open up to was so beautiful to watch. The maturity of both characters was also so refreshing. They were respectful in all the right ways. Pike tried to deny it, but he finally found someone who he can give his heart to. Jordan didn't want the feelings she had to develop but was honestly left with no choice.
The drama, the spice, the slow burn... I LOVED IT ALL!!!
