Beautiful Hearts by Jax Calder

It's a re-read before the new book, and I felt the same way as the first time. Starting it, it feels like a not very memorable book: the two MCs click immediately, they have chemistry, and nothing seems to stop them, not even the big-ish age gap and the fact that one of them is a widower.

This gentle start is completely necessary for the big bombshell of the story. It balances everything perfectly.
