Cannibalism: A Perfectly Natural History by Bill Schutt
4.0
Book Club Light Reading
This was an interesting book. I definitely learned some things. Did I want to learn those things? Debatable. I did read the book after all. I yelled ‘oh my god’ more than my husband preferred to hear. He looked at me with disdain probably the same amount as always (he’s so cute).
I do appreciate the authors attempt at some light, dry humor. It kept things a bit airy. If I have to hear or read the words ‘spider flavored slurpee’ (after this of course) I may barf. But I do appreciate the attempt at levity. My husband didn’t when I said it to him though.
I will enjoy rehashing this with my book friends this weekend. Thanks Bill!
