The book follows Sophia as she gets a job at the new beauty empire in NYC—Hebe. Tree is the Founder and CEO of the company. She takes a liking to Sophia instantly and allows her to test out a new product known as youthjuice. The cream works wonders on the scars on Sophia’s hands. But both the cream and the company have dark secrets.

This is one of those “weird” horror books. It’s a bit trippy at times—so much so I had to reread a few paragraphs because I got a bit lost
