I wish there was an "unreadable" option...I would pick that. Between the choppy, over simplistic writing style and the odd narrative tense (I'm not even sure how to describe it, but I did not like it) and the constant historical inaccuracies I couldn't be past chapter 4...and I had to fight to get that far. The premise of the story sounds so interesting and I REALLY wanted this book to be good...but it just isn't. I even gave this author another shot and started reading [b:Winter Siege|15728386|Winter Siege|Ariana Franklin|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1417010888s/15728386.jpg|45886116] but I didn't even finish the first chapter of that one. It really is too bad, both sounded like great plots, but they are ruined by the writing style and obvious historical inaccuracies.
