I have so many feelings.. I’ve changed my review twice because a part of me hated the way this book started, but the potential was just too good to give it a 2. Personally I would’ve enjoyed this book so much more if we got the Blood Princess on her own terms because a part of Lana did enjoy what she did and I think she had the potential to be a badass. My other issue was really just the lack of world building. I feel like this story lacked that oomph it needed because it just starts out so chaotic without any real buildup? I’m not going to rip the story to shreds because in the end I enjoyed it.

Do I recommend this? Yes, BUT only if you’re a real dark romance reader. There’s some seriously twisted and detailed scenes that I don’t think anyone who isn’t used to it should read. Did I enjoy it? Yes, but again there was some things I’d definitely change.
