Okay, realtalk? This series needed TWs. BUT they came out before TWs so here you go: divorced exes who hate each other. Loss of a child. There are probably a couple more, but I’m writing this a couple weeks after I read it.

He’s such a jerk. And sure he’s got his reasons. He’s been through a lot, but he’s SUCH a jerk. Most of it is unnecessary honestly.

The resolution was very hard won and not particularly satisfying IMO.

Overall, it’s not bad, but it’s definitely not the best Whitney G I’ve read. Yes, most of her heroes are jerks, but there was something about this guy that really rubbed me the wrong way. So three stars. The spice is hot and the story isn’t impossible to read. It’s just not my favorite from her.
