I really loved the first book in this series, White Noise, so I was really looking forward to reading the second. And I must say, I was not disappointed!
Both MCs are so well written, from their childhood to their adulthood, we can see how their friendship developed. We can feel the suffering, first of Kai, and then of both, the fear of losing the other and the lack of communication, which is what ultimately separated them for so long. I even got angry at Kai, despite understanding him, for the decisions he made to protect himself, because although Silas hurt him all those years, Silas didn't even know that he was hurting him, but Kai, on the other hand, with those decisions, did know how much Silas was suffering, but well... as I said, I understand his reasoning.
Anyway, I loved the story. Highly recommended!
