the great tandem read has COMMENCED (a month later oops 🫡) - and I loved every second of it!!

I can’t believe I seriously went through EOS and TOD like that - it was truly the best experience and allowed characters to overlap and blend storylines together! I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone starting this series!

OKAY ONTO TOD! 😩

if you’ve been following along on my throne of glass saga, you know I’ve been a back and forth chaol girlie and this book was no exception 😅 I went from loving him to hating him to loving him again at the end.

if I had to summarize chaol’s journey to healing, both physically and mentally, in this one, it’s: YOU NEED THERAPY ADMIT IT

I absolutely adore yrene and nesyrn, and being able to see the world through their eyes again was a breath of fresh air. being removed from the main country where aelin is continuing her quest to bring down the valg was a nice compliment to EOS!! (again, pls do the tandem read)

what absolutely made the story for me was the characterization of the royal family. sartaq was an instant love for me, and his found family with the ruk tribes got me 🥹🥹🥹 I loved every minute of it!

(also trigger warnings for giant ass spiders but you know that’s just for me lol)

I CANNOT wait to pick up kingdom of ash - if I was bawling from these two, I need a whole box of tissues for KOA good night
