I pre-ordered this book but have only now picked it up because it was a book club pick for February and I am so glad to have finally moved this off my TBR! This was a sweet, cozy, found-family fantasy that was very low stakes and overall I enjoyed it. At first I thought the story dragged because it went through so much of Viv just building the coffee shop, but once I got about a third of the way in it flew through. I also didn't think I really connected to the characters as, despite there not being a whole lot of plot, we also just didn't get to know them that well. Unsure if I will continue with this series but for what it's worth I enjoyed the book!
