I listened to the audiobook narrated by Callie Dalton. I love Callie Dalton, so I did enjoy the narration. 

I did like this book, but I’m feeling conflicted on my rating. I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it. 

The MMC Burgess is a grumpy divorced hockey player dad who is in need of a nanny. The FMC Tallulah is a grad student who seems perfect for the position. Burgess is seemingly in love with her from the get go, since they met through their mutual friends. But Tallulah is hesitant to get involved, only wanting the physical connection, but not the emotional. 

Burgess gets hurt and pushes Tallulah out, saying some really mean things and breaking her heart. 

There’s a lot of groveling in the mix, but they make up in the end. 

Pretty straight forward. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 

Idk. I liked it. I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t my favorite
