This is probably my favorite vampire/ romance novel ever. The level of open-line communication between the two love interests is such a breath of fresh air compared to most romance novels, where a simple conversation could resolve ALL the problems of miscommunication. I love seeing Haru and Nino work through traumas together while also taking the time to let the other ease into a more comfortable setting. Nino and Haru both consider each other's feelings so much, letting the other take a step when he is most comfortable, and I genuinely love it. The spice is slow burn, building up through the book along with their relationship, which makes it SO worth it at the end. You just want them to be happy and loved, SO MUCH. 11/10 will read again.
