I liked this book, probably a little more than the others I’ve read by this author. It just felt a lot more relevant to me and my life I guess? It’s a book about a group of friends (although I know the romance is supposed to be the main plot) that struggle with growing apart after college. IT MADE ME QUESTION EVERYTHING BRUH, LIKE I GOT SO SCARED THAT I WOULD MESS THINGS UP. I could often relate to the main characters in the ways they would mess up sometimes, like with Harriet not telling anyone about the breakup (it felt like something I would do for some reason).
Anyways, it’s sad that this type of thing happens to so many people, and that it’s just the way life goes and not necessarily a terrible thing, just really sad. The way they all loved each other so much but we’re not communicating it right because they were all so busy and didn’t want the same things at the same time 😭 If the book had ended differently, I would not have been surprised, and I might have even cried!
Solid 4 stars, good but not amazing I would say.
