This book is exquisitely funny and delightfully relatable to any mom. It also deals with tough realities and emotions of being female and having kids. But even the aching parts are a joy to read because of how they are rendered with such tender and touching honesty. A very reflective and thoughtful book with captivating metaphors and images. Clever, well-written, and even though the plot is very limited — it all takes place in one week on a beach vacation — if somehow feels like a page-turner anyway. Def a favorite for me
