I originally saw the first series of Shadow and Bone on Netflix before I ever heard it was a book. I never wanted a series so badly. After finally getting the time to sit down and read after feeling so overwhelmingly busy the previous year I was not disappointed. I loved this book so much. Alina, I fucking loved her. How I wish her and the darkling were end game. It would have been EVERYTHING.
