2.5 DNF at 30%. I'm honestly surprised that I hated this the way I did, because I loved red queen so much, but this just gives second book syndrome. I don't like this whatsoever. Mare is kind of stupid, and I was looking forward to banter between her and Cal, and it just..never happened? This does seem like something that Powerless was inspired by, but Lauren Roberts did do it better. If you're planning on reading this, just stop at Red Queen, honestly.
