Sweet story. Only slightly irritating characters (sometimes). Very traditional romance story but well written. Enjoyable. Will listen to the #2 in the series next.

Edit after re-reading as paperback. I originally listened to the audiobook.

I've thought about this book and the series a lot since listening to this over six months ago. I liked it a lot then and after re-read I like it even better. I already gave the book 5 stars in fall 2023 so there's no need to upgrade now (July 2024). I like the series as a whole, too, but what I like about it the most is that we get glimpses of Claire and Delilah and their life together in the next two books.
