I absolutely freaking loved this book!  I slept it on it for far too long.  This book is fun, its horrifically violent, and the deaths are gruesome.  Sergio Gomez definitely delivers.  Camp Slaughter has all the feels of a classic 90’s slasher, which is my favorite.  Sergio uses very detailed imagery in his writing.  You’ll definitely feel like you’re right there, whether you want to or not. 😂 The writing really draws you in.  The story takes place in the woods of Pennsylvania, which is where I live.  And I LOVE being in the woods, so that made this even more special.  I loved all the POVs, especially from the killer.  At no point did I get bored reading this.  In fact, I wanted to stay up all night reading it!  Camp Slaughter checks all the boxes for me.  So, if you are looking for a fun slasher with tons of violence, this is the book for you.  I highly suggest you read it right now.  I’m ready for his next one now. 🤩
