I’m not entirely sure what i was expecting going into this book. I did think it was a thriller but it was more a mystery in the sense of what are the secrets this man holds and what are the dangers they may face. What forced him to hole up with his young daughter from the entire world.

What i got was an emotional read with suspense and great character development. I absolutely loved this story. It was a slow build but i felt so much for these two. I wanted them to live happily and together. It shows the undying love for a father and his daughter. The lengths you’d go as a parent to protect your child. This is just a beautiful story full of sacrifices and love.

I had not anticipated the ending and it really caught me in all the feels.
