five stars because i hate it. i hate it so much i will never forget how much this series scratch and ripped and break my heart into spindle fibers like a god damn smelly tapestry. i mean WHY. why would the title be "the burning god" if THAT'S the ending? i don't know, i can't accept that that's the end. i will just conclude that this series will be having a fourth book because if i will accept that all the sufferings of fang runin, yin nezha, and chen kitay will just end up THAT, it hurts too much. it hurts too much i would just rather forget it than accept it.
