This book is the epitome of warm, cozy fantasy reads! Probably one of my top books of the year so far. The pacing is perfectly leisurely enough to immerse you into this magical, Animal Crossing-style, island. You'll forage with Kiela and Caz, and then pop over to the bakery to eat cinnamon buns with Bryn, and so much more. This is cozy fantasy done right for sure. The only critique I can give is that things ended up working out a little too perfectly in many situations.

I didn't want to leave this story, truly. If I could teleport myself to this sweet little island, I'd be gone in an instant. And that's on top-tier writing ✔️
