If you ever wondered what a zoo for magical creature is like this book beautifully answers that question. The Author puts her PhD in Environmental Science to good use building this world and the animals that inhabit it. The main characters struggles with Anxiety feels incredibly relatable and realistic.
My only complaint is I don't see a reason why the world had to be fictional, I feel like it would be easier to use real world places to better describe habitats and climates. I struggle with following names so I found it hard to remember place names as well as characters.
