I found this book so predictable that I was bored. I could guess every plot beat chapters before it happened. It got so bad that I skipped ahead some to see if I was correct about the overall plot twist and antagonist, and I had it exact down to motivation and end plan. I didn't feel connected to Mac as a main character. Wesley was kind of just there as both a character and a love interest.
