The Desolations of Devil's Acre by Ransom Riggs

3.0

“In the end, our real home had always been one another. And a real home was all I’d ever wanted.”

This book was too much for me and I didn't like it. There were way too many characters for the author to provide any sort of decent characterization and there was too much plot and it was scattered and all over the place. Additionally,
Spoiler the final battle was all of about 10 pages when it all boiled down to it?
. It's unfortunate that these books had to end this way, but I just couldn't do it. It should have been left at three.
