Hmmm. At times the writing (flat dialogue, repetition of phrases, and a few "who the heck is talking?" moments) distracted me from the story, but I really liked the story. I liked the way the zombie story ramped up in intensity as the story went on, but even more I liked how well he dealt with the character's reactions to the situation. If the writing had been cleaner this would have been a strong 4 stars instead of a weak 3.
