Yona of the Dawn, Vol. 24 by Mizuho Kusanagi

5.0

Wow, this volume is really getting back to the parts of Yona of the Dawn that I really love! There's lots of political and emotional drama as Yona pulls every string she can to prevent war with Xing. You really get to see the results of all of her character growth and it is wonderful!

I also want to note that for a while, it's felt like Kusanagi was sort of ignoring Su-won's forces trying to kill Yona back in volume 1 because neither he nor his close allies have seemed to have any issue with Yona in any of their encounters since. This volume makes it clear that Kusanagi has not actually forgotten or retconned that plot point though. I really love how details from several volumes ago come back and this story keeps surprising me!
