I very much enjoyed every book of Ellery Adams' Secret, Book, and Scone Society series. I caught up with that series and decided to try this one next. The blatant fat shaming, and caricature-like characters and their obsession with food, turned me off the entire Supper Club Mysteries series. Moving on to the Books by the Bay series, in hopes that it will prove a better read.
