The Traitor Queen by Danielle L. Jensen

4.5/5
I really enjoyed this one! I felt like it kept the story fresh (which is often hard for a second book to do). Things were set up in a way that made sense and helped the plot and characters along, which I appreciated. Aren was annoying as hell in this book, but I love Lara as a character so she made it worth the read. I loved getting to explore Maridrina after getting to learn about Ithicana in the previous book. Some things definitely pissed me off (namely: Aren) and it was a little cheesy at the end, but I couldn't put it down! I can't wait for the next book (even though it doesn't follow the same characters).
