What Color Is Your Parachute? 2019: A Practical Manual for Job-Hunters and Career-Changers by Richard N. Bolles

5.0

This book has been a favorite when job-hunting since the 90's. This time I was reading it to try to encourage my younger daughter in her job-hunt. Also to stay abreast of what people do when job-hunting for my stories. Everything is research!

Basically, this is a reference book. You may skip around to see what's going to apply to your particular job search. I always was looking for government jobs, and this book even has tips for that!

All in all, it has a sense of humor and the yearly updates really are relevant. No wonder librarians all over the country recommend it! Still great after all these years. I heartily recommend it for anyone looking for work, whether new to job-hunting or looking again.
