Overall an enticing book. It follows the story of Evelyn Hugo and her battles with becoming a movie star. It’s interesting to understand the lives that these people are living. There is a huge plot twist in the end as to why evelyn specifically wanted this particular person to write her story and although it took a while to get there, it truly altered my perspective on the story and made me enjoy it just that much more. it was also really nice to read about someone gay in a time where that wasn’t accepted and how evelyn got around her love and made it work, including all the struggles she went through.
