Loved this! The magic system was interesting the plot had me invested, and the romance had me in a chokehold. It was just good shit the whole way through. I would like to see more of what Lorelei's school years leading up to this was like more, if only to see more of her's and Sylvia's love/hate tension in action. I felt like some of the side characters could have had more going to them, which a good prequel novella would satisfy all of this for me.
