A really well written ghost, romance, mystery novel that doesn't follow the clichés of ghost romances. As in, her romance isn't with someone clearly dead and not able to be with (not a spoiler). The Victorian knowledge and writing was very informative and looked like she did her research - I know nothing about the Victorian era so I could be wrong to historians and professionals.

The mystery, on the other hand, slightly ruined the book for me as it was so easy to work out as the red herrings that Ms. Harvey tried to put into her work was more like big warning signs like HEY! NOT THIS PERSON!

But a great book none the less!
