Sooo I go into this book thinking "oh it's a romantic comedy, I can use a few laughs right now" WRONG miss jemma Croft had me crying at 6 am over this insane book. I'm not entirely sure if that was the whole goal but mission accomplished! This book gives you fluffy, spice, heart ache ugh! Another 5 star read for 2024! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is my first book by Jemma Croft. Although this book is technically third in a series, it's completely understandable as a standalone. The story follows Dima (super rich vampire guy, who invented blood alcohol) and Casey (human familiar mind reader). Casey's master send him to extract the ideas from dima's mind on how her made his blooze. But the main thing, Casey can't read Dima's mind at all.... because he's also a mind reader. Dun dun. And that's not even the biggest plot twist Killian (Casey's master) is dima's brother!? Oh my gosh dude did not even see that coming!

The sweet little moments that Casey and Dima shared together had me crying at 6 am
