The first book is by far the best in this series. I always love getting to know a new world. I liked the modern inserts into this world that made it more relatable and easier to quickly immerse yourself in the characters. Right off the bat I got attached to characters I should not have and I almost put the book down in anger. I am glad I continued this. However, I hate Bryce. She is not my type of person. Especially how she is presented in this first book.
